Terms of sale · Last updated 30 August 2026
What you agree to
when you order.
The conditions we supply under, written to be read rather than skipped. Anything unclear goes to [email protected].
§01
Who you are dealing with
Elite Biotech (ABN 97 359 429 938), based in Boorloo / Perth, Australia. These terms apply to every order placed through this website.
Placing an order means you accept them. If you do not, do not place the order — there is no version of this where you are bound by something you were never shown.
§02
Research use only. This is the condition of sale.
Everything in this catalogue is supplied as a laboratory reference material for in-vitro and laboratory research. Nothing here is a therapeutic good.
Not for consumption
Not for human or veterinary use, and not for any in-vivo use. No exceptions, and no quiet ones.
You must be 18 or over
By ordering you confirm you are at least 18 and are acquiring these materials in a research capacity.
No dosing or protocol advice
We will discuss purity, batch chemistry, reconstitution solvents and storage. We will not discuss administration, dosing or clinical use, and asking will not change the answer.
Your compliance is yours
You are responsible for handling, storing and disposing of these materials lawfully and safely, and for any approvals your own institution or jurisdiction requires.
We may refuse or cancel any order where these conditions are not met. That decision is ours to make and we do not have to explain it.
§03
Your account
Checkout requires an account, so that every order stays tied to the batch documentation behind it. Registration is verified by one-time codes sent to your email and to WhatsApp.
Keep your details accurate and your password to yourself. Orders placed through your account are treated as placed by you.
§04
Prices, currency and GST
All prices are in Australian dollars. Elite Biotech is not registered for GST, so no GST is charged and none appears on your invoice.
The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order. Catalogue prices can change at any time before that, and a discount code applies only while it is valid and only to the order it is entered on.
§05
Placing an order
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we accept it, which we do by confirming the order — not at the moment the button is pressed.
We may decline an order, or part of one, including where stock has run out, where a batch has been retired, where details cannot be verified, or where the research-use conditions above are not met. If you have already paid for something we decline, you get that money back.
Ordering is sometimes paused — during restocks or while the lab is away. When it is, the site says so.
§06
Paying by bank deposit
Orders are paid by direct bank deposit. The account details and your order number are shown at checkout and repeated on your invoice.
Use your order number as the reference
It is how a deposit gets matched to an order. Without it, matching is manual and slower.
Nothing ships before payment clears
Your order is held until the deposit lands and is confirmed. Bank transfer timing is between you and your bank.
Unpaid orders
An order that stays unpaid may be cancelled and its stock released. We will contact you before that happens.
§07
Dispatch and delivery
Carrier
Australia Post, tracked, Australia-wide. Your tracking number is added to the order once the parcel is lodged.
Express credit
Orders with a subtotal over $200 receive a $25 credit toward express postage. Where express costs more than that, the difference is still charged.
Packaging
Plain and unbranded on the outside.
Delivery estimates
Australia Post timeframes are estimates, not guarantees. Once a parcel is lodged, its progress is in the carrier network and the tracking page is the accurate record.
Your address is your responsibility
We ship where you tell us to. Parcels lost after delivery to an address you supplied incorrectly are not something we can recover.
§08
Batch documentation
Every production batch is sampled at fill and sent to an independent analytical lab. We publish what comes back — batch identifier, method, purity, mass — including results we would rather not have seen.
A batch that comes back under specification does not ship. It is logged and retired, and the catalogue line moves to pre-order until a replacement batch clears.
Certificates describe the batch they were drawn from. Match the batch, not just the product name.
§09
If something is wrong
Contact us within seven days of delivery if an order arrives incorrect, damaged or short. Keep the parcel, the shipping label and the affected item until the review is finished.
Include your order number, what arrived, what was expected, and clear photos. We check the fulfilment record and carrier information against what you send, and resolve it as a replacement, a refund or an account adjustment. Refunds are returned by bank transfer, since that is how payment arrived.
Because these are laboratory reagents, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns on opened or unsealed vials. That limit does not touch your rights below.
§10
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing on this page limits, restricts or modifies those guarantees, and where anything here conflicts with them, the law wins.
Where a failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the goods replaced. You are also entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
§11
What we are not responsible for
Subject entirely to the section above, we are not responsible for how these materials are used once they leave us. That includes any use outside laboratory research, any consequence of such use, and any result obtained from them.
We are also not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, by your bank, or by anything genuinely outside our control.
§12
Changes, and the law that applies
We may update these terms. The version that governs your order is the one published when you placed it, and the date at the top of this page tells you which that was.
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and the courts of Western Australia have jurisdiction.
Questions go to [email protected]. How we handle your personal information is set out separately in our Privacy Policy.
